July 2016 marks the 20th annual edition of Mpls. St. Paul Magazine’s annual “Top Doctors” list. For this award, the magazine surveys Minnesota physicians to ask, “Who would you go to if you or a loved one needed medical care?” Earlier this year, the second edition of the magazine’s “Rising Stars” list was also published. This list recognizes outstanding physicians who have been licensed to practice for 10 years or less.

We’re proud to announce more than 20 of our doctors were recently named to the Top Doctors list, and another nine were named to the magazine’s Rising Stars list. While a physician’s inclusion on a list is certainly deserving of accolades, parents shouldn’t be concerned if their child’s specialist isn’t named. As Steven Koop, M.D., our medical director, noted last year, “Any physician’s recognition is a reflection of an entire hospital’s expertise.”
