Advanced Practice Nursing Careers
As key members of our care team at Gillette, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) offer the level of experience and expertise needed to care for patients who have short- and long-term disabilities. They have the educational background and critical thinking skills to understand our patients and figure out how best to help them. Because many of our clinics are run by APRNs and PAs, that means patients can usually be assessed the same day. Over the past 10 years, Gillette has seen significant growth in the number of advance practice nurses and physician assistants hospital wide. Many of our APRNs and PAs are also involved in designing, implementing and interpreting research.
APRNs and PAs currently provide services in pediatric rheumatology, pediatric orthopedics, neurosurgery, developmental pediatrics, craniofacial services and adult services.
